Class III A misdemeanor 0-7days $0 - $500 Or Both

Class IV misdemeanor 0 $0 - $500

Class V misdemeanor 0 $0-$100

Penalties for Driving Under Influence (DUI) Offenses

Prior Imprisonment Fine License Revocation

1st Conviction 7-60 days $500 6 months

2nd Conviction 30 days – 6 months $500 18 months

3rd Conviction 90 days – 1 year $1000 15 years

4th Conviction ( Felony III A) 180 days – 3 years $0-$1000 15 years & 9-18 post
  release supervision

Note, there may other serious penalties if there are underage passengers present or the driver under the influence caused damage to persons or property.
